In cooperation with the city of Pascagoula, Habitat has taken FEMA trailers and made a small shopping area/boardwalk. The women are staining today and the men are back at the Habitat House laying wood flooring. Paula Caulking Monday we visited the Baptist Friendship House in New Orleans … the House caters to homeless women and children giving them training and financial schooling to go into the work force … we can’t wait to share the story of our new friend Donna who was literally carried away by Katrina … today [...] It is time for Mississippi Gulf Coast Habitat For Humanity Trip 2010 and we are looking for volunteers. This will be The Madison Church’s 6th year going down to the Gulf Coast to help rebuild after Katrina. Yes, our help is still needed! We will have a MS Habitat Mission Interest Meeting on Wednesday [...] Keep Madison Church’s mission team in your prayers as they depart on Saturday for this year’s mission trip to Mississippi to help build and/or repair houses damaged during Hurricane Katrina.
