Starting in September, 2011, Caring Kids will meet at 3 pm on Sunday afternoons at The Madison Church. Their first project for this year will be Vets to Vets, a project that provides disabled veterans with personal care items. The children will be putting together care packages with items like soap, shampoo, and the like. They are asking for donations to help with their project. A list of items they need will be made available soon. Contact Melisa Morneau for more information.
Caring Kids gives children ages 3-12 an opportunity to learn the importance of community by directly involving them in activities that will benefit local organizations, individuals, and charities.
This group is organized and supervised by a local RN… Melisa Morneau.
