Mission Committee

The Mission Committee has six members who serve three-year terms. Three of the six must be church members. This committee promotes involvement of the church in outreach ministries locally, in the U.S., and around the world. They collect funds for American Baptist Churches and other ministries. They cook and serve a meal every three months at the Dinner Bell in South Tamworth. They encourage children and youth to attend Christian camps, including Camp Sentinel in Tuftonboro and Christian Youth Conference in Ocean Park, Maine, and provide scholarships. The committee promotes missions education and service to church members and children. This committee meets once a month.
