On June 2, during worship service, the Haiti Mission Team will give a presentation on their recent mission trip. Children’s Sunday is June 9, when our worship service will include a special program by the children. A church potluck picnic will follow at the foot of Silver Lake. Hamburgers and hotdogs provided, bring a [...] Sunday School Rally Day: Sunday, September 9 at 10 am. Come as we start a new Sunday School year. Dan Dineen will lead religious education for elementary school age children in a “one-room classroom” setting. Contact him or the church office for more information. Youth Groups are back: High school group and the younger [...] The end of summer brings announcements of endings as well as beginnings: Vacation Bible School, held August 9-13, was a wonderful experience, both for the children who came to learn about God and for the adults and teens who shared time, talent, energy, and love to make that happen. New members will be welcomed [...] The Sunday School has one more month to go for this school year. Superintendent Dan Dineen and the Christian education committee have big plans for the next few weeks. On Sunday, May 23, the children will hold a car wash after church to raise money for their June 6, 2010 trip to the Heifer Project’s [...] Take note, parents: Children ages 5 to 12 are welcome to attend weekly Sunday School classes at 10 am on Sunday mornings. June 14th: Children’s Sunday, children lead the Sunday Service, followed by a cookout at Silver Lake. The Madison Church Sunday School will hold an Easter Egg Hunt for children on Sunday, April 5th at 10 am. All children are welcome; for more info, speak to Sunday School Superintendent Dan Dineen or call the church. The children and teachers in the Sunday School have a lot planned as their school year comes to a close. Check the calendar (link in sidebar) for details. Briefly, there will be field trips to Manchester for a Fisher Cats baseball game and to Overlook Farm, Heifer Projects’ learning center farm in Rutland, Massachusetts.
